The Horizon NXT is intended for use with a B. Braun Horizon IV set and can deliver fluids from a negative head height while providing volumetric accuracy for all substances infused. It has user-selectable occlusion pressure limit settings ranging from 75 mmHg to 500 mmHg, plus two automatic multiple delivery rate modes. The Profile Delivery mode incorporates a standard ramped delivery regimen, and the Programmable Delivery mode can sequentially deliver up to nine user-selected volumes at user-selected rates. The NXT is easy to use and suitable for home care settings.
